I know what it feels like to build a life without a roadmap.
Hi. I’m Angela
I grew up in Detroit, surrounded by circumstances that could have easily defined my future—instability, trauma, shame, and a lack of healthy guidance were all part of my story.
Long before I became a therapist, I was doing the difficult work of building. I learned how to find my voice after years of silence, recognize my value after years of shame, and take action before I felt ready.
That truth has shaped both my life and my work.
Eventually, my journey led me back to school. I graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a few years later, I got another master’s and became a Licensed Professional Counselor. Between then and now, I have completed all kinds of trainings. In my work as a therapist, I’ve sat across from leaders who had mastered everyone else’s expectations and lost track of themselves.
Introverted executives who know exactly what they think but struggle to say it. Smart women carrying the emotional load for everyone but themselves. People-pleasers in positions of power. High performers who keep shrinking because the room prefers them smaller.
The titles change. The stories don’t.
Over time, I noticed a pattern. These were highly intelligent professionals with insight. Many understood their history. Many had done significant healing work.
And yet, they still felt stuck.
That’s why I created the Voice, Value & Volition™ (VVV™) Framework.
The VVV™ Framework was built to help people move beyond survival and into intentional living. My work sits at the intersection of identity, conviction, and execution. I work with leaders who are ready to reclaim their voice, live from their inherent value, and step confidently into the next chapter of their lives.
Voice is the rebellion against silence. It’s the decision to stop self-editing to protect other people’s comfort. It’s the return to the truth you were never meant to mute.
Value is the non-negotiable core of who you are. It’s the rebellion against earning your worth. It’s the refusal to let titles, performance, approval, or the world’s valuation of you override God’s.
Volition is the rebellion against hesitation. It’s the internal engine that refuses to wait for consensus before acting. It’s the willingness to move before certainty arrives, and to stop hiding behind the stories that keep you small.
I didn’t have a roadmap. What I had was the willingness to keep building anyway—one honest narrative at a time, one reclaimed boundary at a time, and one uncertain step at a time.
That’s the work I now help others do.
If you’ve mastered everyone else’s expectations and lost track of your own, you’re not broken. You’re just due for a reckoning with your Voice, Value, and Volition.
And that’s the work.
